Changes are circumstances to which we have to accommodate ourselves, and the disposition to be conservative is both the emblem of our difficulty in doing so and our resort in the attempts we make to do so. Moreover, to be conservative is not merely to be averse from change; it is also a manner of accommodating ourselves to changes, an activity imposed upon all men. To be conservative then is to prefer the familiar than the unknown, being inside one’s comfort zone and confined in trying out new things.

Tried my luck in an attempt to convince people to believe in something that I sought after, and yet again the answer was a straightforward N-O and there is nothing I can do about it. Risk taking will never be an option for them.

However, I am able to identify that being conservative is not always bad.

The thing is: I do not know if what they say is true or what I believe is right. For the mean time I will respect these people of their decisions and their blessing is always something I would cherish. Maybe, just maybe in due time, I will try and find another opportunity when it arises.
