RUKR Preparations, RUKR, Post RUKR
Im have since been very busy.. Activities after activities.. Not forgetting that i have been working as well.. So i havent been much of a blogger..
Well here is an update of myself.. For myself.. And those who wants to know whats goin on in my life...
Had my first marathon kayak race around Ubin which was 22km.. It was a great experience.. And i achieved my goal of getting at least a top 5 position... And so i have to give a treat to all the canoeing peeps... Haha.. I promised them that if i get top 5 i will treat everyone!The preparations was also quite tedious.. We had to make out own wind breakers.. And customize them.. I just love Pei Yu's one : KILL BILL!! Hahaha..
Busy at work.. OR just trying to look busy.. HAHA..
After all the art and craft done... I was too tired and slept on the road while waiting for our transport to come to transport the kayaks to Pasir Ris..
On race day itself.....
Im so hungry after the race... Surprisingly not tired.. Thinking about how well did i performed for the race.. Did i get top 5?! Will i have to treat the guys?? Haha..
I tot i counted i got 7th position.. But nope!! Damn happy.. If not for the Nationals.. I would have gotten 3rd.. Next marathon race, Nationals, you better watch out coz my target is now top 3!!After the race, we went out to celebrate!! Mini celebration before the official one.. Heh.. Jun Sheng won top 3!! 2nd Runner up sounds better than 3rd.. Hahaha! And coz i achieved my target! Then we go visit our Sarah... If she didnt backed out from the race, she would have clinched top 3.. Coz i remembered her always being behind me of not more than 3 mins away during our rounds... She better be in the next race!!

What was missed: Celebrated the September Babies Birthdays!
Went to Mambo.. It has been a long time since i went there la.. Haha. Was fun though.. Once in a while clubbing is fun.. This was the last mambo before exams. Im sure there will be more - like next wednesday... Post Exams celebration..
THEN A BIRTHDAY SURPRISE FOR PEI YU!!
Clara, Clarence and myself decided to drove up to her place and knocked on her door to wish her Happy Birthday!!

I finally get to touch a dog.. Pei Yu should be honoured that it is her dog that i am touching.. Cute eh?? The dog.. (NOT ME LA.. Hahaha)Just sit in my arms keeping still... HAHAAHAA!
Then I followed them to the so called famous teochew porridge. Doesnt look nice.. Maybe coz its leftovers.. I dono.. I cant eat them anyways.. Hah..
Then we went to Mount Faber...
I taught clara how to utilise her camera function and we played with the colour swap thing.. Damn cool function of a canon camera! I wan a canon camera!!!
Car courtesy of my Sister and Brother in Law.. Nice of them right!! Lol.. Can borrow the car again okie.. :P Lucky got the car if not cannot go out..Then to Sentosa to make a fool of ourselves..

Exams Are Finally Over!! And Tomorrow is RUKR 2008!!
Its been almost a month since i blogged. Here I am blogging just to try to keep myself awake. Since the exams started, i always have a very bad habit of having naps in the late afternoon and then i wont be able to slp after that until 6am the next day!!
Time to change and cultivate a good sleeping habit since exams are over! Furthermore i cant afford to sleep no later than 11pm today coz tomorrow is the ROUND UBIN KAYAK RACE (RUKR)!!! MY first ever kayak marathon race! Hahahaha!
Im damn nervous about tomorrows race... I havent been training good enough to catch up with the Captain. All our trainings all are affected coz of exams.. Sucks like hell.. Even the Capt himself says he is not on form.. Even with that so called handicap of his, i am still am not able to catch up to him.. Im always like lagging 10 mins behind him la.. So sad laaa..
Although i would say there have been improvements since 3 mths back where i was lagging behind for half an hour.. LOL.. But still far away from smelling the medals if im not on par with him yet. Not enough.. Need more training.. Which means i will be darker than ever before... Hah..
Lets just hope for the best! Do my bestest! Aim for top 5! Hope of getting below 2hr 35mins tomorrow! All the best to everyone taking part tomorrow!
Ohh.. AND a big Happy Birthday to the EViL TwiN!! Yeap most of you do not know this but i have a twin but she was adopted for some reason or another.. Or was it me that was adopted? I was too young to remember.. Hahaha.. Where is the pary at? Lol..
