Yeap its great to be back home... Brunei is not so bad after all if you are an outdoor junkie and no longer does the shopping centres closes that early as what people say it was.. It actually picking up the pace from the past two years i was there, though not drastic changes. One thing i do not see change is that the people still loves their Sultan(King) just the same if not more.. Its like crazy love as you see posters of him everywhere and it is kinda cool seeing that the people love the country that much.
I have seen and eaten a few things there that i have never seen/eaten before. Normally people in Sg eat those durians we called D24, XO and all those weird names. They have something way cooler there; a yellow durian with kinda hook- like thorns and the insides, you wouldn't believe it!! Its PINK!!! It does not have that stench of local durians in fact it has somehow an aromatic scent and taste as my mum told me. I am no fan of durians so i wont eat any species of it. Heh.. Here is a proof of the Durian Otak Udang Gala (King Prawn Brain ---> direct translation) I think it exist in the whole of Sabah/Sarawak and Borneo as well being neighbouring countries.

I also ate this fern like vege which tastes better than kang kong.. Haha.. I dun remember what they call it there i think Parkis/Lembiding or something.. Then there was those giant cockles, cant remember the name though. Well if you were to go to Brunei, try them out!

The boat ride on the river between Brunei and Temburong.. Nope didnt get to see any crocs... :(
But nothing beats being at home........
