The Story*:

An Investment Advisor is suppose to write an article in some financial magazine about advise on investments to the readers. So the financial advisor wrote that the market for the coal industries are doing very well and are predicted that it can do well for the years to come (2008-2010). However, a week before the government have released through media that the coal industry will have to be cut back due to environmental factors.

Mr A relied on the financial advise given from the magazine and invested a hefty sum in the coal industry. Does Mr A have a case against the Investment Advisor? If there is what case do MR A has against the advisor? Give reasons. Assume there is no contract involved.

One case many outcomes... That is why law is interesting.

What am i doing emo-ing when i have test to study for??And its time for me to study for my test! Comm Law is very intriguing!

Initiation day was all about:

Fun, games, sand castles, oceans 13,12 or 11?, blue, red, green, white, 2- word cheer, digging, the itch, sand everywhere, human dums/dumb humans?, zero point?, bonding, pretty gals, hungry, walking a lot, getting tanned, dehydrated, water, "scary", bush-whacking, light stick, maze, swamp -ing around, ghost hunting, mosquitoes, mount biking?, more walking, forfeit, guga!? jump, drink, drank, drunk, i, you, me, long toilet queue,new couples, camwhoring camwhores, tired, wasted(lol), texas :P, no sleep, care for princess(failed.. heh), cleaning up mess and of course making new friends. Some i can remember their names, others im sorry we will meet again and i will try to remember.. Haha.. There are more about the initiation day but these are those that i can remember from the top of my head. The SR team did well! Thats all i can say about it i wont go into the details of what happened there, here.. :D

Received a call from my exNS organisation, (SCDF duh).. Was told that a reporter wants to interview one of the CDAU (Civil Defence Auxillary Unit aka volunteer) for an article to a newspaper.. And i became a likely candidate.. Honoured i am but i kinda dun like the publicity.. Already declined them once and the second time is not very nice.. Spoken to the appropriate people and asked them for their advice and was told that there is no harm and in fact it can help you in certain ways.. Guess they are right..

But...... I WILL HAVE TO CUT MY HAIR WHICH I HAVE BEEN GROWING FOR SO LONG!!! sighz... Guess im only fated to have short hair all my life.... The interview is confirmed, the date is not. Until before that day comes will i cut my hair.. Prolonging the inevitable... Haha..

This is kinda what happened after the half day kayaking session on Satuday. They just love to take photos.. Ouhkay Ouhkay WE LOVE TO TAKE PHOTOS!! Venit Metricis?

Finally I graduated from my star 2 kayaking course!! Thanks to all who made it possible for the course! Star 3 next?? Anyone wanna join? I need at least 8 people if they wanna create a course. Anyway, it was great even though it ended early.. I wanna go for an expedition too! Oh well maybe after the exams..

Its been a while since i hanged out with my phat secondary school cum JC friends.. And today we had a quick bite (dinner) at east coast after my kayaking.. Waited from 6 until like almost 1900hrs for them! While waiting, i dozed off at one of the break waters enjoying the breeze and sounds of waves breaking against the shore.. It was actually nice to be alone for that instance and because of that, i wasnt angry with them for being late.. Haha.. Food was great! And P you still owe that special something you promised me on my dimples... So sad ah..


Ok well on my way back i saw this indian fella lying unconscious or drunk or dead at the pavement grass patch and a few people who walked past that man just ponder over him and walked away.. WTH!! This people are just leaving him there and doing nothing!! I walked faster towards that man and assess him (based on what i have learnt in CD): lying prone down in an awkward position in the middle of the open and i deduced he is either drunk, unconscious or dead. So i assess further and do some physical check to see if he is unconscious.

"Hey are you ok?" giving him a few nudge on his thigh. He woke up after a few nudges and apparently drunk and couldn't really understand english. So i put up the thumb up sign and said "are you ok"? He replied with the thumbs up and said sleep here only.. Lol.. So i walked away and left that foreign worker there.

I hope Singaporeans can be more willing to help others in distress if it ever happens and not just look and walk away.. Yes it could be bloodcurdling but the least you could do is call for help if you are not sure yourself.. Recently i lost a cousin who had a heart attack in the streets but help came too late for him..... What if it was someone who is dear to you?

Went to watch the soccer match at Kallang Stadium yesterday.. It was great to be in the Kallang Stadium after such a long time watching a much anticiapted soccer match by many.. It feels just like the old days.. The Kalang Roar, the Kallang wave, the jeers and the cheers, sound of the horns followed by the the infamous word for the day.. The Singaporean identity?

The Thais didnt put up a good sporting spirit towards the last ten minutes or so when Singapore was awarded a penalty kick. Reason for the penalty kick? - Cant really see wat was the cause as i was at the other end of the stadium. Well it seems that the decision for the penalty was not just but its not right to walk out.. The controvesy of the game was intense yesterday i must say. A great penalty shot! Well all the best to our team Singapore for the matches to come!
