The Story*:

An Investment Advisor is suppose to write an article in some financial magazine about advise on investments to the readers. So the financial advisor wrote that the market for the coal industries are doing very well and are predicted that it can do well for the years to come (2008-2010). However, a week before the government have released through media that the coal industry will have to be cut back due to environmental factors.

Mr A relied on the financial advise given from the magazine and invested a hefty sum in the coal industry. Does Mr A have a case against the Investment Advisor? If there is what case do MR A has against the advisor? Give reasons. Assume there is no contract involved.

One case many outcomes... That is why law is interesting.
